How to WORLD SPA FAQs

  • How to spa at WORLD SPA?

    • Guests are strongly recommended to book admission passes online. You can choose from three WORLD SPA experiences: Unlimited Monday – Thursday Access; Friday, Weekends & Holidays 4-hour Access, and a VIP Experience. We cannot guarantee admission for walk-ins and guests who arrive past their selected check-in slot.
    • Each guest should have a valid government-issued ID and a credit card with a matching name for check-in. It is done to prevent fraudulent charges and verify guests’ ages, as our Lounge Menu includes liquor.
    • WORLD SPA provides robes and towels throughout your stay.
    • Remember to bring your bathing suit.
    • While WORLD SPA is a barefoot facility, guests are welcome to bring their clean inside sandals or purchase new ones at the WORLD SPA gift shop. We suggest making sure the traction of your sandals is good, as there are a lot of water areas.
  • What is included with my admission pass?

    • A Monday – Thursday Admission Pass includes unlimited access to the facility.
    • Friday and Weekend Admission Passes include a 4-hour access to the facility. Each additional hour will be charged at $25.
    • A Holiday Admission Pass includes a 4-hour access to the facility on the dates of Thanksgiving Day (Nov 23-24), Christmas Day (Dec 25), and New Year’s Day (Jan 1). Each additional hour will be charged at $25.
    • Robe and towels are included, along with access to complimentary toiletries.
    • A bathing suit and indoor sandals are not included. You could choose to go barefoot or purchase slippers at the WORLD SPA gift shop.
    • Treatments, food, and beverages are not included in your pass. Any products purchased throughout the day will be added to your guest account connected to your wristband.
  • VIP experience Pass includes:

    • Unlimited stay at WORLD SPA.
    • Express Check-in.
    • Access to Birch&Oak Members Club, open on Friday, Sat 12 PM – 10 PM & Sun 12 PM – 9 PM.
    • Exclusive access to the only smoking terrace within WORLD SPA.
    • VIP wristband.
    • Robe and towels are included, along with access to complimentary toiletries.
    • A bathing suit and indoor sandals are not included. You could choose to go barefoot or purchase slippers at the WORLD SPA gift shop.
    • Treatments, food, and beverages are not included in your pass. Any products purchased throughout the day will be added to your guest account connected to your wristband.
  • Is there a time limit to my admissions pass?

    • Guests with Monday – Thursday Admission Passes are welcome to stay for an unlimited time.
    • Friday, Weekend, and Holiday Admission passes have a 4-hour limit. You may purchase additional hours for $25/hour.
    • Guests with the VIP Experience are welcome for an unlimited stay on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Access to Birch&Oak Members Club with this pass is available from 12 PM to 10 PM.
    • All guests, please, be advised that the last call for all WORLD SPA experiences is 9:15 PM, Sun-Thur; and 10:15 PM, Fr-Sat.
    • The last call for Dining is 8:30 PM, Sun-Thur, and 9:30 PM, Fr-Sat.
    • Please note there is no re-entry.
  • When is the last call?

    • Sunday through Thursday, the last call for all WORLD SPA experiences is 9:15 PM. The last call for Dining is 8:30 PM.
    • Friday through Saturday, the last call for all WORLD SPA experiences is 10:15 PM. The last call for Dining is 9:30 PM.
  • How do I change the time or date of my Access Pass?

    Access Passes can be rescheduled up to 24 hours prior to reservation start time by calling our Call Center at 718 500 3772.

  • What are the WORLD SPA Rules and Policies?

    • Please be mindful and respectful of other guests.
    • Please refrain from yelling, loud conversations, and excessive phone use. Cellphone pictures and videos are strictly prohibited inside the locker rooms as well as all of the WORLD SPA saunas, banyas, and steam rooms.
    • WORLD SPA is an adult-only facility.
    • Please refrain from using your own body care products at open showers, pools, hammams, banyas, and saunas. You can use them in the locker room showers, however, our showers are equipped with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Vanities have hair dryers and mouthwash.
    • For your convenience, a suggested 20% service fee is included at the WORLD SPA Lounge; Birch&Oak Members Club, and for all Treatment Center services. The gratuity amount can be adjusted at the time of checkout.
    • We are a smoke-free facility. Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited.
    • WORLD SPA reserves the right to ask anyone suspected of intoxicated or under the influence to leave. A refund will not be given.
    • Outside food and beverages are strictly prohibited. You could always bring your own water bottle to fill at WORLD SPA or purchase food and drinks at our Lounge.
    • Once you have checked in, there is no re-entry for any reason.
    • Rules and regulations are subject to change with or without notice.
    • Please note that prices, amenity availability, and services are subject to change with or without notice.
    • Excessive PDA is prohibited.
    • Harassment of WORLD SPA staff or guests in any way will result in immediate expulsion from the premises.
    • WORLD SPA reserves the right to blacklist any guest who is not following the rules and policies.
    • Any and all weapons & firearms are prohibited on the property.

  • What is your age policy?

    WORLD SPA is an Adult-only facility for guests 18 years old and older.

  • Can I take pictures or videos inside WORLD SPA?

    • Cellphone pictures and videos are strictly prohibited inside the locker rooms as well as all of the WORLD SPA saunas, banyas, and steam rooms. Please respect the privacy of others.
    • In between your experiences, we encourage our guests to take a quick picture for social media in allowed areas.
  • What is your gift certificate policy?

    Gift Certificate Policy

    • A recipient’s First and Last name must be on the gift certificate.
    • Must present valid government ID matching recipient’s name.
    • A valid debit or credit card is required to be put on file during the duration of the visit.

    If there is no recipient name listed:

    • Guests must pay for admission or treatment using a valid credit/debit card or cash.
    • Purchasers of the gift certificate can email proof of purchase along with a photo ID and credit card.
    • Once WORLD SPA receives the above documents, we will refund the guest for onsite payment and redeem the original gift certificate towards purchase.
    • There is no exception to this policy.
  • What can I use the gift certificate for?

    • Can be used towards purchases of access passes, services, food & beverage, as well as retail items at World Spa.
    • Can only be redeemed by a guest with a valid ID matching the Recipient Name on the Gift Certificate.
    • Non-refundable.
    • Gift Certificates are activated for use 48 hours after purchase.
  • Does WORLD SPA has a Membership program?

    Yes, we do. Please check out the Membership page for more details, including pricing and what’s included.

  • What are the locker rooms equipped with?

    Lockers are stocked with a robe-size OS. The larger sized robes can be requested from our staff. Towels are available in the locker rooms and on the second floor by the concierge desk. Showers are equipped with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Vanities have hair dryers and mouthwash.

  • Can I bring my own skincare, bodycare items such as scrubs, exfoliators etc?

    Please refrain from using your own body care products at open showers, pools, hammams, banyas, and saunas. You can use them in the locker room showers, however, our showers are equipped with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Vanities have hair dryers and mouthwash.

  • Is there water readily available at WORLD SPA?

    If you brought a water bottle, you refill it at our water fountain. Still and Sparkling water can also be purchased.

  • Does WORLD SPA have any gender segregated amenities?

    We are a co-ed facility with separate locker rooms for each gender.

  • I am pregnant. Can I come to WORLD SPA?

    Due to the nature of our amenities, it is recommended to consult with your healthcare professional regarding the use of our facility. Our experiences are set to various extreme temperatures that are not recommended for women who are pregnant.

  • Do you have group rates, packages or discount codes?

  • What happens if I lose my valuables or jewelry while at WORLD SPA?

    We are sorry to hear that you have misplaced your valuables during your journey at WORLD SPA! Please fill out this form, and we will get back to you as soon as possible. WORLD SPA accepts no responsibility for the loss or damage of valuables and jewelry at any time on the spa premises.

  • Do you give tours of WORLD SPA?

    We do not provide tours to the public to maintain the privacy, comfort, and safety of our guests. We ask you to explore our website for more information.

  • Does WORLD SPA participate in charitable donations?

  • Do you have parking on site?

    Yes, we have valet parking for our garage. Valet parking costs $15 for the duration of your visit.

Treatment Center FAQ

  • How do I schedule an appointment?

You need JavaScript enabled to view it. Guests with confirmed spa appointments do not have to purchase admission in advance. Your appointment will guarantee you availability on the day of your service, and you will be able to pay your admission cost at the time of check-out if you stay past your allotted time in our facilities.

  • Is a reservation required for spa treatments?

    Reservations for spa treatments are strongly recommended. We cannot guarantee we will have available slots.

  • Can I book a treatment after checking in with my Access Pass?

    You can book your treatment at check-in on the day of your visit or later on in person at the concierge desk. Availability is not guaranteed, we highly recommend booking in advance.

  • How do I reserve a couples spa treatment?

  • When do I need to arrive for my appointment

    We recommend that you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your Treatment appointment time to ensure you have ample time to prepare to arrive at the Spa Treatment Center and be picked up on time for your appointment. If you are late for your appointment, you will only receive the remainder of what’s left of your service.

  • Is there a consultation scheduled before my appointment?

    To better serve you and customize your service, each Treatment or Journey is inclusive of a 5-minute consultation period with your service provider.<

  • What should I do if I have health conditions that might affect my treatment experience?

    Kindly document and advise us of any health conditions, including pregnancy, allergies, surgeries, and or injuries which could affect your choice of treatment when making your Spa Reservation. We reserve the right at any time to refuse to perform a treatment should we feel that it is in the best interest of your health and safety. Please also be aware of any COVID-19 specific policies that are in effect at this time. Your service provider will be wearing a face mask and gloves during your service.

  • What type of maternity service do you offer?

    Prenatal Massage is available to be booked for expecting mothers between 13-36 weeks along in their pregnancy by the time of their booked service. Pregnant persons should always seek the advice of their physician prior to receiving prenatal treatment.

  • How do I change or cancel my spa treatment?

    • WORLD SPA maintains a strict cancellation policy in order to provide the best possible experience to all of our guests. If you need to cancel or reschedule any spa treatment or journey, you must provide advance notice of at least 48 hours prior to the original date and time of the reserved service.
    • To cancel or reschedule any group bookings of four or more guests, you must provide at least 7 days advance notice.
    • If you cancel or reschedule within 48 hours (or, if applicable, within 7 days), you will be considered a No-Show and you will be charged 100% of the cost of each treatment or journey. The No-Show fee will be charged to the credit card that you used to make the reservation(s).
  • How can I leave a tip for my aesthetician?

    For your convenience, a suggested 20% service fee is included for all Treatment Center services. The gratuity amount can be adjusted at the time of checkout.

  • What if I go past allocated time after my treatment?

    Any time past the allocated complimentary hour will incur a $25/hr charge.

  • What are the dining options at WORLD SPA?

    Guests can dine in between their spa experiences at our WORLD SPA Lounge featuring an international menu.

  • What are the serving hours? (Breakfast/ Main Menu/ Closing time)

    • Light Breakfast is available from 10 AM to 12 PM
    • Lounge Menu starts at 12:45 PM
    • The last call for Lounge dining is 8:30 PM on Sun-Thur and 9:30 PM on Fri-Sat
  • Do you offer Kosher food?

  • Dining Policies

    • Outside food and beverages are strictly prohibited. Our Lounge offers an extensive menu of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food options.
    • For your convenience, a suggested 20% service fee is included at the WORLD SPA Lounge. The gratuity amount can be adjusted at the time of checkout.
    • Food and beverages are strictly prohibited in and by the pool area, and inside all the saunas, banyas, and hammams. Guests are welcome to enjoy their food and drinks at designated Lounge areas.

  • How do I book an experience for a large group of people?

    WORLD SPA offers multiple options for a larger group of guests to experience all of our amenities with comfort:

    • For groups who prefer privacy, we recommend reserving one of our Tuuci-styled cabanas. You are guaranteed a table and have the opportunity to pre-order food and drinks from the WORLD SPA Lounge menu. Cabanas are available starting with 4 hours minimum booking.     • WORLD SPA offers two private lodges for rental to guests who wish to celebrate their special event in luxury. The lodges offer a private oasis equipped with a private authentic banya or Finnish sauna, showers, a lounge, and a dining area.
      • Chalet can accommodate up to 15 people. Booking starts at 4 hours minimum
      • Dacha can accommodate up to 20 people. Booking starts at 4 hours minimum
