Infrared Sauna

A gentler, deeper heat — crafted in Alder wood, warming the body from within. Maximum heat, minimum sweat.

World Spa infrared sauna in Brooklyn, NYC — Alder-wood interior with infrared heating elements under the benches

The Room

World Spa’s infrared sauna is crafted artfully from Alder wood, with infrared heating elements set beneath the benches to target your back and spine. The result is a different kind of warmth — maximum heat, minimum sweat.

Infrared light warms the body directly, so most guests can stay in longer — and draw more from the deep, therapeutic heat.

Unlike a traditional sauna that heats the air around you, infrared penetrates the body itself at a comfortable 95–110°F with no humidity. Because it is never red-hot inside, the experience stays calm and unhurried.

It is also the one room where a selfie with friends is welcome — just be mindful of other guests as you strike a pose.

Maximum heat, minimum sweat — warmth that reaches the back and spine.
